Shantawene village is situated between the village of Bombe and Bombe Mountain. The producers are part of a member organization of more than six hundred growers located in various parts of the mountain range. All coffee is hand-picked, carefully sorted and selected. Since coffee grows slowly at higher altitudes, the beans are dense and highly concentrated in screen sizes between 13 to 14. The raised bed drying method allows air to flow around the cherry and dry, reaching a moisture content between 10 - 12%.
