Having faced the challenge of finding truly exceptional coffee in Ecuador, this passionate couple, alongside a dedicated native crew, set out to create a place where unique coffee thrives.Their search led them deep into the untamed beauty of Cascabel, a wild and unexplored town on the path to the Amazonas. Here, nestled within the breathtaking landscape of the Cayambe-Coca Natural Reserve – a realm of green mountains, serene lakes, and vibrant biodiversity – they discovered the perfect conditions. Surrounded by the symphony of birdsong and blessed with fertile ground and an ideal tropical climate, La Josefina found its home. It is in this extraordinary setting that they cultivate the high-quality coffee that defines La Josefina.
