Situated in the colony of Bolinda, Las Alasitas occupies a verdant, rugged mountain valley about 10 kilometers from Caranavi. Established 52 years ago, Bolinda was initially named 'Bolivia Linda' or 'Beautiful Bolivia,' evolving into its current name as a prominent settlement in the region. Las Alasitas, founded in 2014, spans 20.6 hectares at an elevation of approximately 1,642 meters above sea level, offering breathtaking views of the sprawling Los Rodriguez farms and distant mountains. The elevated altitude allows for a gradual ripening process of the coffee cherry, supported by stable night-time temperatures and mild daytime conditions, resulting in heightened sugar concentration that enhances the sweetness of the brewed coffee.
